WorkPlaceUSA is a Dallas-Texas based professional servicesorganization which serves corporate clients across America by providingindustry-leading integration of specialized talent and expertise to virtuallyevery aspect of the workplace. We areessentially a consulting and project management organization who assistsclients with issues that are material to their business success but oftenintermittent in nature or non-core to their own in-house expertise. Corporate Real Estate Consulting and Project Implementation WorkPlaceUSA has beenadvising clients and overseeing facility projects for twelve years on anationwide basis. WorkPlaceConsultings Real Estate Group (formerly known as The Amend Group andmerged into WorkPlaceUSA in early 2000) performs several activities that wehave labeled collectively as Decision Management services. This includes conceptual facility planning,location analysis, market research, site selection, financial modeling,negotiation of lease agreements, and broad oversight of corporate relocationprojects.
In early 2000, WorkPlaceUSA announced the formation of a ITI Solutions as an additional service to our customers with space needs.ITI Solutions performs similar functions as WorkPlace Consulting but uses its in-house expertise to focus exclusivelyon the special needs of locating technical infrastructure sites for customers includingdata centers, co-location facilities, telco hotels and network operations centers. Integrated into WorkPlaceUSA'sDecision Management activities are the additional capabilities of WorkPlaceDesign Group to accomplish interior design, architecture and site masterplanning; WorkPlace Engineering to provide consulting and design of themechanical, electrical and plumbing project components; WorkPlaceConstruction Group to oversee and/or perform general construction of shelland interior projects; and WorkPlace Project Management to coordinateand deliver all of these services in a systematic, generally design/buildmethodology. In early 2000 we alsoestablished WorkPlace Development as an additional service to ourclients who seek a level of control or advantage with their facilities butdesire a lease with a friendly owner rather than an ownership position. Portugal HotelsWorkPlaceUSA's overall team has performedincredible accomplishments for our clients, won multiple awards and beennationally recognized. Our interiordesign organization is the 25th largest in the United States and ourDesign/Build activity places us as the fourth most active creator of officebuildings in the country for the past several years.
Technology Consulting and Project ManagementWorkPlace Technologies was formed in 1997 in considerationof the growing interdependence of clients' technology platform planning withtheir facility decisions. Initially performing physical technologyinfrastructure design and project management services in conjunction with otherWorkPlaceUSA projects, today we independently source and perform abroad array of information systems consulting and project management servicesto multiple targeted industry segments.Our goal is to providevaluable assistance to clients in a middle market segment of projects toosmall for large international IT consultants and service providers butlarge enough to warrant solid independent advise and planning. We also haveseveral targeted industry segments where our specialized relevant experiencebrings unique value to clients, regardless of project size or scope.
Financial Services and Capital OriginationOur work in the facilities and technology arenas has occasionally required theanalysis and strategic origination of capital to assist our clients. Over several years we have helped tostrategize, negotiate, structure and originate capital for a variety ofprojects including equity capital, short and long term debt, synthetic leasefinancing and general lines of credit for our clients. In early 2000 WorkPlaceUSA formallyannounced the creation of WorkPlace Financial Services to permanently establishand grow our capabilities to assist clients with capital needs. Initially building upon our historicexpertise in real estate capital, WorkPlace Financial Services willadditionally seek opportunities to assist our clients in broader areas of theircapital needs in fulfillment of WorkPlaceUSAs client service goals.
Human Resource Advisory and Project ManagementIn addition to providing valuable advice and service in therealm of facilities, technology and capital, WorkPlaceUSA also envisions a servicecapability in Human Resource.The appropriate sourcing of people, incentive and benefits plans,retention mechanisms, training and productivity plans are a challenge for allof our clients to some degree. We see a need to continue to grow and assist ourclients in these areas as many of the issues and challenges have similaraspects to our other core services, i.e., they involve projects or initiativesthat are intermittent and/or non-core to our clients in-house staff. Our work in this area has primarily beenfocused on demographic and labor analysis in support of facilitylocation/relocation assignments. Wehave also performed employee surveys and other work to assist our clientsin structuring appropriate workplace environments. We expect to significantly expand this service area as we see atremendous need amongst our clients to improve upon all areas of employeemanagement.

Serviceofferings are structured as stand-alone projects, although many of our clientassignments combine some or all of the above capabilities into an integratedproject solution.
