John Canaan: MichaelMcLeans immortalized song, Youre Not Alone, was sung by John Canaanand he has been featured on

Together Forever and Like a River(Janice Kapp Perry & Senator Orrin Hatch). He has produced 3 CDs and talktapes. Hes opened

forthe Pointer Sisters, Kenny Loggins and The Jets.

Michael R. Hicks: If youhave listened to the 1999 EFY medley, As Sisters in Zion & WellBring The World His Truth

youveheard Michaels tremendous talent at arranging and producing. His talent with the piano will soon be foundon his first CD

thatwill be available in November, 2000.

Julie de Azevedo: Julie hasbeen writing songs and performing for as long as she can remember. Her third CD, Dive Deep,

followsPray for Rain, In addition to music Julie has a Bachelors degree inPsychology and a Masters degree in Social Work. She

andher husband, Jeff, are parents of two children.

Ryan Shupe (and the Rubber Band performing without theRubber Band). Ryan plays guitar,mandolin and violin. He sings

hisoriginal tunes and his band took 1st place in the 1997 TellurideBlue Grass Festival. Recent claim tofame is having contributed

musicto the movie, Gods Army.

Peter Breinholt: Thisguitarist plays to sell-out audiences in Utah.He has produced 4 Cds, the latest of which was done in

combinationwith Jon Schmidt for EFY 2000 entitled Forward with Faith. His first concert was in 1996 and his firstCD came a year later.

David Tolk: He studied classical piano in his youth and whileliving in Nashville, Tennessee he developed a passion for jazz.

Hecomposes his own music for a unique genre.He has produced two CDs, Stories in the Sky and Mendham with a third CD on the way.

Voice Male: Hailingfrom Utah State University six returned missionaries create exciting harmonies,contemporary arrangements,

solidvocal percussion and off-the-wall humor as their trademark. They have 5 CDs: Jingles,HIMS, Up, Up and Away,

Voice Male May 1996 & Hooked.

Hilary Weeks: In 1996she released her first album, He Hears Me which was awarded Best Albumby a Female Vocalist.

In1999 she was honored as FemaleVocalist of the Year. Her 2nd CD, Lead Me Home, has been abest seller. She was honored

withan invitation to sing at the Boston temple dedication.

John Bytheway: The churchs funniestspeaker with a profound message. Hesings, plays the guitar and leaves

youwith a great message. He has writtenseveral books and produced nearly a dozen talk tapes, all geared

towardyouth. He has been a favorite speakerat EFY, Youth Conferences and firesides.

Inside Out: The newest a cappella sensation, they haveperformed extensively throughout Utah and Arizona. They

aremaking their first vocal visit to the Southland. All returned missionaries these 6 young men harmonize,

createtheir own vocal percussion and add a good dose of humor.

Janice Kapp Perry: She has written over 800 songs, with 10 songspublished in the Primary Songbook, one

hymnin the LDS hymnbook and she recently retired from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.She received the

RicksColleges Exemplary Woman Award in 1994& BYU Alumni Distinguished Service Award in 1997.

David Glenn Hatch: Thisconcert pianist has produced over 20 albums consisting of contemporary, secularand

religiousmusic. He has performed throughout the world and recently completed a concerttour to the United.

Kingdom& Ireland. His latest CD was just released internationally on the CriticsChoice label of New York 

Bruce Newbold, In Him Was Life: Bruce resides in Downey, California, is aprofessional actor and has appeared

innumerous television shows. Hispresentation is most appropriate for the Easter season. He has also

createdand performs Covenants & Crucibles: A Handcart Sage. Both of these are available on CDs.

Michael McLean: Having produced over 20 albums including TheGarden, The Forgotten Carols, Celebrating

the Light, Safe Harbors and his most recent release,Michael Sings McLean this charismatic performer needs

nointroduction. His musical, The Ark,opens on Broadway in February, 2001. 

Polly, A One Woman Musical: Performed over 100 times byJohanne Frechette Perry whose voice is

familiarfrom her many solos on LDS recordings.Her husband, Steve, is a full-time songwriter and

playwright. Included within his 8 CDs are FromCumorahs Hill and Come to the House of the Lord. 

Colors: Three young men cut an album prior to their missions entitled Standingon the Sun. Two years later they

returnedand reformed their group. They have entertained EFY groups but their musicappeals to all ages.

Theirlatest CD, Falling In, will soon be followed by their 3rd CDto be released in early 2001.

Maren Ord: She is atalented songwriter with a terrific voice.She has a record deal with Capitol Records and a

publishingdeal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.Maren is the eighth of ten children, a native of Canada

andshe conducts herself like a seasoned professional. Her LDS upbringing helpkeeps her life balanced.

Doug Walker: He grew up on Glendora, California and served amission to Washington DC. He graduatedfrom

BYUin music and has performed at Opryland, Nashville, Tennessee. He has participated on several EFY

albumsand his first CD, Stones in the River, will be released March, 2001.Sherry & Doug have 2 children. 

Brett Raymond: He hasproduced several CDs including Case of Pop, Primarily for Grownupsand

FirstLight: Scenes from the Restoration. His newestCD is to be released in February, 2001.
