Personally I've seen the design community embrace newer technologies such as DHTML a lot more. While that is good and all, it worries me. Many sites I visit are geared toward one browser...but they forgot to think about users on unix/linux, or mac. Even though a browser will support something in one version doesn't mean it does on that version for another OS.

Personally, I love design community projects. That's why I took ZeroSignal back to the drawing board and will be relaunching it soon.

The community has take the new stylings of techno landscapes with retro colors and layout. While its pleasing...to be honest, I'm a little tired of seeing it everywhere. haha

Its cool though, I bow to all of you that can pull that stuff off. It amazes me.

within 5 years I think broadband will be the only way you can view the web.. I could be wrong, but hey, look how far we've come since the days of dialups on what...9000 baud?

It blows me away to think that 33.6 was lightning fast just 5 years ago.

It's hard to say where it will go...change is something I am looking forward to though...I can't wait to see what things come next.

I think the design community is a great resource for new and experienced designers...I have learned so much from it. Infinity...you have done a great job with halfproject!
